Julie Keisman Miller, principal

Julie Keisman Miller received her B.A. from Columbia University in 1989. In June 1989 she began working in the marketing division of Oxford University Press, New York. There she was responsible for promoting both trade books and special interest titles.

While at Oxford, Miller directed the marketing program for her department and was instrumental in creating cross-promotional vehicles that linked trade, reference, academic, and special interest titles. She conducted Oxford's first trade market launch of a CD-ROM title and managed the international publicity campaign for one of Oxford's most controversial releases. Miller left Oxford in 1996 and used the trade, academic, and special interest marketing experience she gained there to start her own company, JKM Marketing Services, in 1997.
